We’re now offering dyed diesel and ethanol-free gasoline, available 24/7 with pay-at-the-pump access. Whether you're headed out early or coming in late – we’ve got you covered.

🏗️ Elevation Project Gets the Green Light
As of Tuesday this week, we FINALLY received full approval from all the necessary permitting offices. With that last box checked, elevation work is officially scheduled to begin in June.

This has been a long time coming, and we can’t thank you enough for sticking with us as the Grill & Bar remain closed. The improvements are just getting started, and we’re excited for what’s ahead.

🌅 Bayview Elevation Project – Update 🌅

Good afternoon, everyone! Here’s a quick update on our elevation project:

✅ Plan Review Complete – The parish’s plan reviewer finished their assessment late last week. With no changes required, we’re now moving forward with the coastal permit while the regular permit continues processing.

📌 Delays & Next Steps – The permitting process has caused some delays in our original timeline, but we’re making steady progress.

🚧 Construction Timeline – Despite the setbacks, we anticipate construction to begin in April.

We truly appreciate your patience and support as we navigate this process and push forward. More updates coming soon!

🌟 Exciting Announcement! 🌟

We’re thrilled to share that The Bayview is taking a significant step forward! Since opening its doors in the 1950s, the location has faced challenges with storm surge flooding due to the facility being situated on ground level. We have certainly had our fair share of challenges since our ownership beginning in 2018. To address this, we’re partnering with Davie Shoring to elevate the entire Bayview, ensuring a more secure future.

Pre-construction will begin in the coming weeks, with a goal to complete the project by May 2025, just in time for the upcoming on-season. As a result, we are having to postpone Mr. Weatherall’s October 26th show to a later date. We appreciate your patience and understanding during our temporary closure this Fall & Winter, but we see this as a valuable opportunity to start ahead of schedule following the recent tropical season & subsequent hurricane preps.

Additionally, we’re working to get fuel services back online in the next week. We’re excited to see this vision come to life and ensure that Bayview remains a beloved destination for decades to come.

Due to the uncertainty surrounding the current storm threat, Bayview will remain closed this coming week. We aim to have fuel reinstalled next week if conditions allow.
