Well friends… this isn’t the post we hoped to write. 💛
For those that are asking and those that haven’t yet questioned it, and those that wonder if the rumor is true…it is.
As of now, The Dock Stop is closed, and after a lot of thought, we’ve made the decision that we will not be reopening.
This wasn’t an easy decision. What started as a simple idea turned into something much bigger — full weekends, late nights, and a whole lot of memories packed into one little stop by the lake.
We’ll always look back and smile at the laughs, the familiar faces, and the “quick stops” that turned into longer conversations and lasting friendships. Those moments meant more than we can put into words.
We are incredibly grateful for every visit, every purchase, and every friendly conversation. Big Lake has some of the best customers around, and we truly appreciate your support.
Thank you for supporting us, for showing up, and for being part of this chapter of our lives. You made The Dock Stop something special.
Sometimes good things don’t last forever — but they sure can leave a lasting impression.
