2026 OPENING DAY

We're just completing some paint and cleanup at the Coudersport Ice Mine. This picture was taken this morning.

Very pleased to announce that our opening day for the 2026 season will be Friday, May 22 beginning at 10:00AM to 5:00PM. We will be open Saturday and Sunday that weekend and closed on Monday in observance of Memorial Day.

For the rest of the summer we will be open Wednesday-Sunday from 10:00AM-5:00PM through Labor Day.

Admission continues to be $5.00 for adults and $2.50 for children ages 6-12.

The Ice Mountain Trail and History walk is also on schedule to open next Friday. All of our signs and final trail work should be completed on this project in the next couple of days.

And finally, the new Coudersport Ice Mine website with three live stream cameras and real time temperature gauges should be available to the public next week.
