Special Bottle Signing!

With: Martin Markvardsen
Senior Global Brand Ambassador - Highland Park
Highland Park Wh**ky

Monday, September 14, 4-5:30pm at Hi-Time

Come meet Martin and find put more about this famed Orkney distillery!

About Martin:
Martin joined Highland Park in 2006 but has been working in the industry for almost 36 years. He started his interest during a trip to Scotland where he fell for the golden
nectar and for him, there was no way back. He needed to know everything that was possible about Scotch Wh**ky. Since then, he has been visiting every distillery in Scotland and has spent some time working on some of them as well. He was the Wh**ky Manager at the world famous Craigellachie Hotels Quaich Bar, with more than 780 different single malts. It’s safe to say he knows what he’s talking about…

Martin is the longest serving Wh**ky Brand Ambassador for the same brand in the World.

Martins’ role involves spending most of his time travelling, doing training, education and tasting for bars, restaurants, wh**ky clubs and participating in fairs. Everyone from beginners to experts come to listen to Martin speak about Highland Park, and as it was said about Martin “He is a true ambassador to the amber liquid as he doesn’t drink anything made of grapes”.

Martin uses his free time in his boxing club, fitness club or on a bicycle. Martin was Danish Champion 2 times in Boxing.

Labor Day Special! – 1 Liter bottles of Austin Hope Cabernet are nearly 30% off!!

Austin Hope is one of our top selling Cabernet Sauvignons in the store, and our normal price is $54.95 for the regular sized 750mL bottle. However, we just managed to get such an incredible deal on their larger 1 Liter bottles, and we can now sell them for just $49.95 (item no. 230775). That’s nearly a 30% reduction on the price it should be! You read that right; until we sell out, you can get the larger 1 Liter bottle for A LOWER PRICE than the regular 750mL bottle! The price of the larger bottle should be closer to $69.95, but to celebrate the Labor Day holiday, we’re selling them at a discount of nearly 30% off!

Deep ruby in color, the Austin Hope Cabernet Sauvignon expresses aromas of freshly picked black currants, ripe black cherries, and blackberries, with subtle notes of violets, mocha, and dried spices. On the palate, it's a big, powerful, modern-styled w**e layered with heaps of juicy blackberry and cherry fruit, while nuances of cedar, clove, nutmeg and vanilla bean round out the long smooth finish. It's full-bodied and rich, balanced by fresh acidity and firm, polished tannins.

September W**es of the Month!
(Link in bio)
91 Point Rhone Red and White Rhone are our W**es of the Month — $10.95 Each!

Sometimes our buyers find w**es they love so much that choosing just one is impossible. That’s exactly what happened with our latest Rhône discovery. We tasted the Clavel 2025 Côtes du Rhône and Côtes du Rhône Blanc and couldn’t decide which we enjoyed more. We simply couldn’t choose between them so we selected both as our W**es of the Month!

Clavel 2025 Côtes du Rhône
A classic Southern Rhône red offering tremendous character for the price. Built around Grenache, Syrah and Mourvèdre, the w**e delivers ripe red and dark berry fruit along with subtle spice and a supple, juicy texture with a lingering finish.

The W**e Enthusiast gave this w**e a score of 91 Points noting its blackberry, plum and cherry flavors with a dusting of cocoa.

Clavel 2025 Côtes du Rhône Blanc
The white was every bit as compelling. A Rhône white built around classic Rhône white varieties-Grenache Blanc, Viognier and Marsanne it combines ripe citrus and stone-fruit flavors with floral notes, a refreshing mineral character and a beautifully clean finish.
