You’ve probably seen the Willett Pot Still on shelves, it’s hard to miss that bottle. But, if that’s the only Willett you know, you’re missing out on two of the most underrated bourbons in Bardstown.
Rowan’s Creek & Noah’s Mill. Same family. Same Bardstown roots. Both distilled, aged, and bottled by Willett Distillery, a family operation dating back to 1935 that restarted their stills in 2012 and hasn’t looked back.
Rowan’s Creek | 100.1 proof
Aged in Willett’s Bardstown rickhouses and hand-bottled in small batches. Think apple, pear, caramel, honey, and a warm toasty oak finish. The accessible one. Smooth enough to sip neat, priced right for a bottle you’ll actually open on a Tuesday.
Noah’s Mill | 114.3 proof
This is a serious pour. Brown sugar and seasoned oak on the nose, then a full palate of prune, to***co, and charred oak with a velvety mouthfeel. Long, spicy finish of cinnamon and burnt caramel that sticks around. Gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
At 94 proof with a wheated, lighter profile, Willett Pot Still is a great introduction to the distillery. But Rowan’s Creek and Noah’s Mill are where Willett shows you what they can really do.
Pot Still, Rowan’s Creek, Noah’s Mill, and other offerings from Willett are all here at Concordia Liquor Outlet. Come grab a bottle or tag someone who needs to add to their shelf before the weekend 🥃
