The next Saturday Session of the Adair Genealogical Society and Adair Genealogy & History Research Center is coming upon us. The 5th scheduled session--and 2nd Walking Tour for this year is:

A Heritage Walking Tour of Downtown Columbia, scheduled for Saturday, September 12th at 6pm CT. Mike Watson will lead a group from the Research Center [307 Greensburg Street] to the Public Square and take a few side trips on the way down and back.

The topics will vary, but generally deal with early formation of the town and some of the Revolutionary War veterans and patriots who contributed to make this a thriving town.
