Update: basically what I'm getting from the County is that at some point they'll probably go in and clean out the property again, then the owner can go right back to trashing it again. The county has no housing standards so they don't care about the roof or mold. It sucks because I've lived here since 1985. My wife's ashes are scattered in the backyard, but I'm not spending the next 20 years next to a dump. I think all I can do is move.

Anyone else dealing with this?

I've had a junkyard/homeless camp next door for years now.

Code enforcement cleaned it up once, a year or two ago, then they just went right back to the same ole same ole. I got a new case opened which has been "in litigation" for over a year.

It appears the only ones who have any rights anymore are the perpetrators, unless you live in The Broadmoor or Briar gate or something.

I've contacted code enforcement many times and recently our County Commissioners, including Cory Applegate, District 4.
