First Friday tomorrow at UCCS Downtown. This amazing team from Pikes Peak Art Council hung my show, Ancient Urban Textures. Gonna say it was nice to not have to hang art (now that Sanctuary Inspired Goods is closed). Join Abby Jean and myself Friday, Oct 4, 5-8 for the opening. We will have prints, cards and 22 originals available for purchase. Card/cash. There also is a really cool show of ancient axes in the same room. This space is really cool and lounge-like. Come hang out. I’ll have cookies.

Painting on globes has been fun. The ones that are rare we just collected. But common globes were used as a canvas for all kinds of creativity. My fav is the gold globe. It now sits in Sanctuary Studios where it will be a star player in the background when we start our Youtube channel.

Kids are grabbing a henna so they can look uber cool on the first day if school.
Some schools have rules against henna but some are open to more personal expression. This young lady is headed for eighth grade, and she chose a more traditional design.
