What day is it? It’s Blue Note Bourbon DAY!

Entering the arena at 119.2 proof and 4.5 years of sweet barrel aging, our 4th (and 5th!) Blue Note Uncut & Unfiltered is a two-barrel blend lovingly selected within the Colorado Bourbon Collective. It’s available here at Payless Wine & Spirits and at Oasis Liquors for 49.99 and will be at selective partners around the area who I’ll post in comments.

The nose is a strong, sweet fruit I haven’t placed yet. Apricots, but something else too. On the palate, it’s concentrated heather honey. All the jokes we make about butterscotch and vanilla and woody leather — this ain’t that. It’s easy to drink with strong flavor and a medium finish.

So hows it our 4th and 5th? We couldn’t decide between two barrels, they were both outstanding but very different. Then we mixed them — and the sum was even better than the parts!

Here at Payless, you’ll get 2 allocated raffle tickets for our Father’s Day bourbon raffle, which will be June 14. I’m setting that up today and it looks fire, as the kids say.
