Location: Tesnatee River Winery and Meadery, Cleveland, GA

Position Type: Full-Time
About Us:. We are currently looking for a talented and experienced Winemaker to join our team.

Job Description: As a Winemaker at Tesnatee, you will play a critical role in overseeing the wine production process from vineyard to bottle. You will work closely with the vineyard team and Ownership to ensure the highest quality wines. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, creativity, and a deep passion for winemaking.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the entire winemaking process from grape harvest to bottling.
Develop and execute fermentation plans, blending, and aging strategies.
Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and industry standards.
Collaborate with the vineyard team to monitor grape health and harvest timing.
Analyze wine chemistry and conduct sensory evaluations.
Participate in wine tastings and represent the winery at events.
Maintain records of production processes, inventory, and compliance with regulations.

Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in winemaking, with proven experience in all aspects of wine production.
Strong knowledge of fermentation, blending, and aging techniques.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Passion for wine and commitment to producing high-quality products.
Experience with sustainable or organic winemaking practices is a plus.
Ability to adapt to changing conditions and work effectively under pressure.
