You’ll also see an old wood stove with a bench where memories are shared and created.

As of Saturday morning at 8:15am- the stretch between Loop Road and Atwood Dr has reopened. Brookhill Dr to Covered Bridge/N ONeil remains closed.

The area near Covered Bridge and N. ONeil Street coming from the north side of town/Riverwood headed into/out of Downtown Clayton, NC is closed.

Please avoid this area as it is not safe for travel.

The road closure is expected to last through the night.
