The Clam Lake Junction is located in downtown Clam Lake, Wisconsin in Northern Wisconsin's Chequamegon National Forest. The 6 room hotel & convenience store is conveniently situated at the intersections of Hwy 77 (part of the Great Divide National Scenic Highway), Cty M & Cty GG only a short drive from Hayward, Cable, Glidden and Mellen, Wisconsin. The Clam Lake Junction is located in the heart of the Chequamegon National Forest only 1 mile from the Day Lake National Forest Campground, the West Fork of the Chippewa River, Lake Namakagon, Lower Clam Lake & Upper Clam Lake. Reminder to all local and visiting veterans that are in the Clam Lake area on Memorial Day Monday. Again this year there will be a memorial ceremony and dinner in Clam Lake.
The Glidden area Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion along with their Auxiliaries will march at noon from the Chippewa river to the Clam Lake cemetery.
After the ceremony we welcome all veterans to the Clam Lake Community Center for a free chicken dinner with all the trimmings sponsored by the Community club and local residents.
This dinner is sponsored to give thanks to those that have given so much.
This tradition in Clam Lake was started many years ago by Ralph and Sheri Cornell and is now carried on by the Community Club as one of the highlight events of the year!!.
We ask anyone in the area that wants to help serve or bring deserts or a dish to pass to please stop in to the community club by 11:00.

Just a quick note to say that we are blessed with a great staff at the Clam Lake Junction. We have a crew of 10 people with not only great personalities but also a focus on the quality of the customer experience. We have added a new vendor to our specialty foods mix. A company called Grandma Barbs in Rib Lake Wisconsin provides some great dry goods mixes for dips,soups,breads and bloody marys! I have to to give credit to my daughter Paige who manages our vendor relations for finding this gem. My direction to her is simple. "Load the store up with amazing products!". I hope you all get a chance to give them a try!!

Our freezer section has a new pick 5 program that allows the selection of any 5 combinations for $25. Chicken tenders, nuggets, hash brown patties, french toast sticks, corndogs and sausage egg and cheese sandwiches. The reviews have been great!!!
