Look at this gorgeous produce we got from globalgardenschicago , just down Lawrence Ave! Carrots, green beans, beets, kale, and not pictured is bok choy and lettuce. We also got a delivery of frozen fruit from Mick Klug Farms today, and, per usual, we also have crimini mushrooms from River Valley Mushroom Farm.

We know there have been a lot of fruit and veggie recalls lately, but the source of the problem is not your nearby, independent farmers. You can eat this local produce without worry.

Fennel (37¢/oz) from Wild Trillium Farm, plus from Global Gardens: red and daikon radishes, beets, parsley, holy basil, celery leaves, Swiss chard (all $3.50/bunch), and LETTUCE you don't have to worry about ($4.50/bunch). Also our baby Bella mushrooms from River Valley Ranch. Come on by!
