This Weekend’s Featured Tasting Flight: Champagne
Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs, and a Traditional Blend

May 28th - May 31st, 2026

Three grapes. Three different personalities of Champagne.
Decide which cuvée is your style of Champagne.

Michel Gonet ‘Vindey Montgueux’ Blanc-de-Blancs Extra Brut NV | $74
Alain Couvreur Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut NV | $ 57
Champagne Chartogne Taillet ‘Cuvee St.-Anne’ NV | $90

Champagne one step further:
Add a 2 oz bonus pour for $15 of Champagne J.M. Sélèque ‘5 Terroirs’ Blanc de Blancs NV | $125
A Premier Cru Chardonnay drawn from five sites with reserve wine dating back to 2012.

There’s a reason we’re obsessed with Champagne and why we end every year with our Champagne & Caviar event. The range is unmatched: site specific, endlessly expressive, and never boring.

Even on our team, no two favorites are the same. Mark + Ella love racy, mineral grower Blanc de Blancs, Alison + Jeff reach for layered lees aged blends, and Kaya prefers the textured fruit of Blanc de Noirs.

Join us to taste through three grower Champagnes in classic styles side by side: Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs, and a traditional blend.

Still reminiscing on Roséfest. Luckily, rosé season is far from over. A few festival favorites are still available in shop for summer restocks, whenever the moment calls.

Wine Atelier | May Workshop
The Rhône Valley: Geography, Wind, Heat & the Shape of Power

Thursday, May 28 | 6:30 PM
📍 Petit Philippe | La Cave Cellar Room
4001 Park Rd.
Charlotte, NC 28209

This month, we travel through the Rhône Valley to explore how place shapes power in wine.
From the steep granite slopes of the north to the sun-soaked stone vineyards of the south, we’ll taste how geography, climate, and terrain influence aroma, texture, structure, and energy in the glass.

Through six guided wines, we’ll compare:
— Rhône whites & texture
— Southern Grenache-led blends
— Northern Rhône Syrah & structure

Along the way, we’ll connect what we taste to the land itself: wind, heat, slope, soil, elevation, and appellation.
Led by Mark + Ella, with firsthand stories and insights from recent visits throughout the Rhône Valley, including Ampuis, Tain-l’Hermitage, and Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

90-minute guided tasting
Limited to 25 guests
🎟 $100 per person
Atelier Members receive preferred pricing.
