I love to be able to share the immense talent that so many of my fellow artisans have, but today I'm doing so with a heavy heart -

Bob Burnham, who was an expert tanner and artist, passed away recently. Among other things, Bob created, from start to finish, (including the hand painted images,) these beautiful deerskin pouches that we've carried at the shop for many years.

He was the kind of person who was a humble master of his craft, and his kindness was always evident in the hand-written letters he sent each year, with his newly made pouches.

Both he, and his kind & talented spirit will be missed.
