So the big question is “Where will the liquor store be located?” Here’s the answer! We are located next door and under the same roof as Littlefield Propane, otherwise known as “Pete’s” on the east end of town.

This is our temporary location as we build a new store - more on that to come.

Many of you may recognize him because he knocked on your door and asked you to sign the petition! Thanks to the hard work of our local citizens we illustrated a success story of democracy in action.

On this day, Friday, February 21st 2025 we had the first official legal beer sold in Charleston Arkansas in nearly 100 years! EJ Neissl, who worked hard collecting signatures for the petition, had the honor. Thank you EJ for helping make this possible! Our community will now benefit from this momentous occasion.

Moments in Charleston History

This past Tuesday, November 4th 2024, our Prairie Township voted to become “wet” like our county. Our citizens worked very hard to sign a petition and vote to keep our tax money here in Charleston! As you can see in the photo- the measure passed and the will of the people was undoubtedly ensured!
