Charlie passed away at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, April 18, 2023. We have all lost a great friend whose humor and warmth will be missed. Military funeral and wake dates will be posted once arrangements have been made.

THis post today is the most difficult post I’ve made.

Three months ago I jumped from an airplane on my 75th birthday. I had some slight pain in my lower back prior to the jump. The pain has gotten more severe as time has passed. So my Gastroenterologist had a cat scan done on my liver. The result came back with a lesion/tumor on the liver. So then an MRI was done to see it better. It came back with two lesions/tumors. But then he has a pet-scan done and that is when they found the cancer had spread to my spine. Hence the back pain.

They are going to do chemo on my liver and radiation on my spine. That is in a couple of weeks. Plus a new round of two MRI’s and a cat-scan on other areas of my thorax and pelvic area.

Life is getting more difficult daily, with vomiting and diarrhea. It takes all I have just to stand up from a chair. I have lost eight pounds since Saturday. So I’m not looking for a Hail Mary cure. Reality has set in. No times have been discussed yet and probably won’t till after the next round of treatments.

Mr. Bob Adams passed away Sept 25th. In that regard the following is his service details.

Memorial service is Saturday Oct 15th at 1:00pm. At Good Shepherd Mortuary.

He was a good gentleman. hope you can make it.
