When Lydda “Mimi,” founder of Josephine’s Baking Co., learned her young nephew had a gluten allergy, she started baking cookies made with simple, natural ingredients — no preservatives, no artificial extras, and definitely no cardboard taste.
What began as a family recipe in Venezuela traveled over 2,000 miles to Quincy, MA, where Mimi and her daughter Andrea built a business in honor of Mimi’s mother, Josefina.
