Our thanks to Paul Horsted for coming to Chamberlain tonight to present on his new book South Dakota Yesterday and Today at the State Theatre. His presentation covered how he got started doing these kinds of projects and some of his first books, how he finds photos, how he takes his photos, and explaining some of the photos in his books. Here he is telling about using a drone in Platte, SD. If you weren't able to come, we have copies of the new books as well as some of his past books at the store. You can also find the new book the Eastwards Art Gallery just a few doors down from us. Another thank you to all who attended. Let us know if you enjoy this kind of presentation and maybe we can work to find more interesting speakers for future events.

We've been busy! and didn't realize we hadn't posted any pictures for a while. We've been in a lot of afternoons, BUT if you are coming from a distance please call ahead and make sure we will be around to open up for you. Lots of variety being priced now including lots of the cast iron.

FALL HOURS
As we move toward retirement, we are transitioning to fewer regular hours. We will be open only by chance or appointment.
Our page will be the place to look for special hours
particularly on weekends and around holidays. We do not mind calls! Call and we will do our best to give you the chance to shop.
Thank you in advance for understanding. If you do have time to swing off the highway and drive be the store, we are there quite a bit by chance. There are other great shops on Main Street too!
REGARDING BILLBOARDS
Several Years ago we sold all but 4 of our billboards when we sold our property in Oacoma. If you are stopping in based on a billboard, we apologize if the information on that sign was not
accurate. We have no control over these signs and wish they were changed to the new owner's information. Thank you for understanding.

Lots happening lately. One is that we were able to buy a large collection of cast iron. We will be putting out a few new pieces every time we are at the store. We are in today for a few hours. Call ahead if coming from a distance. We are open by chance or appointment.

Paul Horsted will be in Chamberlain on October 25th at 7 pm. He will be sharing about his new book and giving some insight into how he plans and takes his photos. The program will be FREE at the State Theater. How fun will it be to see his photos on the big screen! Put this on your calendar - you won't want to miss it.

So excited to get this in. I've been looking forward to this book for a long time. Paul Horsted has really done a fabulous job. Mark your calendars too. Paul will be in Chamberlain on October 25th doing his presentation at the State Theater at 6:30pm. You won't want to miss it.
