To our beloved Smoke Town Community
It's with a heavy heart that I share news I never thought I would have to say...after 9 wonderful, challenging, joy filled years, Smoke Town will be closing October 31st.
LaMont bought Smoke Town back in 2016, it was definitely his baby. Losing him 4 years ago was devastating to all of us, but we decided then to continue running Smoke Town in his memory
This is not a decision made lightly or was it ever the plan. Our lease is up September 30th and I always planned to renew. However as this year played out in the Texas Legislature regarding H**p products, extending a lease 36 months with still so many unknowns was overwhelming. Regulations in this industry are needed, however a annual license fee of up to $20K only has one goal-to put Smoke and V**e shops like mine out of business.
However, in the midst of our heartbreak, we are also overwhelmed with gratitude. I've always said we couldn't do any of this without our amazing Customers and your support. For that I am forever grateful. ❤️
Starting Wednesday, October 1st, our Going Out of Business Sale will begin. We have a month to sell it all...a bit overwhelming at the moment, but with your support we can do it!!!
