The wines we’ll be pouring:

Caparsa Chianti Classico DOCG 2021
No wood tannins, just pure, bright, balanced fruit. Steak? Poultry? Pasta? There are any number of directions you can take this wine, but it belongs at the dinner table (though lunch works too)

Caparsa “Caparsino” Chianti Classico Riserva DOCG 2017
After residency in cement tanks, this heads into oak barrels for 15 months, earning Riserva status. There’s no shortage of claimants to the throne of Chianti Classico, but for value and pure deliciousness, and character, “Caparsino” rules.

Caparsa “Doccio a Matteo” Chianti Classico Riseva DOCG 2015
We’re excited to see what we can conjure from this 2015 that may very well be starting to hit its stride a decade in. A warm vintage tempered fortuitously by storms, this wine delivers dense aromatics, gentle spice, black fruit, and ample tannins for considerable longevity.
