Carp Lake General Store

The residents of Carp Lake (7 miles south of the foot of the Mighty Mac) were crushed when the over 100 year old Carp Lake General Store burned in 2019, but three years later it reopened with new owners and it continues to serve the area today.

I just wanted to give everybody a heads up. The store is closed today. I injured my foot pretty good and had an asthma attack just this morning while at the store. I’ve been to the hospital and will be okay. I am however gonna need to rest and call it a day. I’m so sorry.

It’s Michael, I am heading to the store. If you need to grab some stuff as long as you see my red Chrysler minivan I am there. I cannot take credit cards. I’m not marking s**t up. Do not come in and act a fool and try and buy all the water on the shelf or any sort of hoarding style behavior. There is no electricity but There is some beer, groceries, ci******es, liquor, ice, some water and food. I’ll be there from 330-630 stay safe and act in kindness.

Been at it in the kitchen today! We’ve got homemade golabki, beef stroganoff, grape and walnut chicken salad on cottage bread, chili, an assortment of cookies, and homemade candy!
