Lepe Cellars specializes in crafting artisan wines from Monterey County.

We take great pride in blending the best of Old World and New World techniques, enabling the wine to develop naturally over time and allowing the journey to be kept as pure as possible, highlighting the regions true terroir.

The 10-Year Anniversary wines are now available in the online shop. These wines taste amazing and are some of the best wines I’ve made!

🍷The 2022 Anniversary Red blend is velvety and rich, bursting with notes of black berry jam, black currant and a touch of violet. The palate is juicy with notes of cranberry and plum and finishes with rich notes of brown sugar and baking spice. The blend is comprised of Petit Verdot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Syrah.

🍷The 2023 Barrel Select Pinot Noir was fermented and aged in oak barrels. This expressive and lush wine opens with notes of red cherry and raspberry jam interwoven with notes of rose petals and clove. On the palate are notes of wild strawberry, dried herbs, leading to a lingering vanilla finish.

It’s Rosé season! Just in time for the warmer weather, we’ve released our 2024 vintage. This dry Rosé opens with aromas of nectarine and lychee, while the palate bursts with strawberry and finishes with a touch of crisp minerality.
We love pairing it with a lobster roll or smoked salmon, perfect for spring and summer sipping! ☀️

Did you know all of the grapes used in our wines are either sustainably grown or organic? 🍇 I’m very intentional about working with growers who share the same commitment to quality and the land, because great wine starts in the vineyard.

In the cellar, I take a minimal intervention approach and let the fruit speak for itself. The result is wines that are expressive and a true reflection of the Monterey AVA.

Our 2022 Syrah is officially released and it’s tasting incredible! 🍷

This expressive wine opens with notes of blueberry, blackberry, and boysenberry, with a touch of earthy complexity. The palate unfolds beautifully with red plum, milk chocolate, and a black pepper finish. Purchase our new release in the tasting room or on the website!

As we celebrate our 10-year anniversary, I’m taking a trip down memory lane with 10 images from the archives. 🍷

1. In 2013 this was the image that started the idea for my own brand
2. This was my first wine and label design in 2015
3. Marking my first bins for harvest 2016 🍇
4. Updated my label designs and launched several new wines in 2018
5. In 2020, Covid couldn’t stop us from harvest and making amazing wine
6. I opened my tasting room in Carmel-by-the-Sea in 2021
7. In 2022 Tira joined the team 👏
8. We had several great harvests over the years, but this was an image from 2023 harvest
9. 2024 I moved into my winery space in Marina and Jake joined the team 💪
10. 2025 marks our 10th year and I’m so excited to celebrate with you all 🎉
