Did you know that if you take the parkway south to exit 0 you will run right into our building?
On September 2nd, 2025 our lives literally flashed before our eyes. A car came barreling into our office and warehouse. We were very fortunate that there were 0 casualties.
It’s estimated that over 12 million people visit Cape May, New Jersey annually. The majority of those visitors park in the City’s Jackson Street Lot. They then proceed to walk past Collier’s and onto the Washington Street Mall.
We met with Mayor Zack Mullock, City Manager Paul Dietrich, Public Works Superintendent Eric Prusinski, Fire Chief Alex Coulter, Chief of Police Dekon Fashaw, and many others. TOGETHER we advised a plan to put bollards in that would save future lives.
We are fortunate that evening that no employee or innocent bystanders were killed. I sit in this office for countless hours everyday with my Father. There is not a day that goes by that someone doing this again doesn’t go through our minds.
Thank you to the City of Cape May. We love this town, all our customers, and look forward to celebrating our 92nd Summer with you all! ❤️
