George Wise 2024 Employee of the Year
George Wise was selected by the Board of Directors of Jeff's Food Mart as the 2024 Employee of the Year. This prestigious award was awarded at the 2024 Christmas Dinner in December.
Jeff Wright, Managing Partner, Board Chairman and CEO, said in his award speech "I cannot think of any other employee that is more deserving that George." He continued by saying "George is there for early mornings and late afternoons making sure all customers taken care of. His committment to excellence does not go un-noticed to say the least. Each and every customer and vendor knows George by first name." In accepting the award Wise said "I am humbled, speechless and surprised by this great honor."
Jeff posted Wise's award in the store for all patrons to see. Just this morning regular patron Chris Skaggs came in and said "Jeff, you seen George this morning?" To which Jeff showed him his award. Chris went on to say "That ain't no surprise. Everybody loves George."
Former Partner State Rep. Sarge Po***ck had the following comment upon learning about Wises' award. "George is a staple to the Jeff's Food Mart business. George Wise and Jeff's are synonymous."
The crew at Jeff's would like to say Thank You to all their loyal patrons for a great 2024 and we look forward to another great year for 2025.
Jeff's Food Mart is a local convenience store that provides great brands like Ski, Robinson Select Meats, and Little Debbie Cakes. Jeff's is the only place in town where the food ain't that good, but you still keep coming back.
