American Craft Beer Store - Think liquor store but for beer! We have over 700 beers on the shelves in cans and bottles and 8 beers on tap to fill growlers.

Branching Out Bottle Shop provides the largest selection of premium quality and unique craft beer to the growing Syracuse region. We have 64oz, 32oz and 16oz growlers for sale but we also fill outside growlers (just make sure they are clean :-) )

Now deep into our 10th year of operating our first-ever business, we reflect on the journey with joy and some sadness. We are honored to have been embraced by a community that has become our home. We’ve made lifelong friends, and lifelong memories in our little space. We shared our dog(s) with all of you and felt the shock of how huge Barley’s loss was to everyone who met him. We’ve laughed together. We’ve cried together. You’ve seen us sweat and you’ve seen us bleed. Hell, some of you have even patched us up! All the boxes have been checked, some of which we didn’t even know existed. There is just one more box for us to check, and that’s to bring this leg of our journey to an end. With the heaviest of hearts, and the highest of hopes, we will not be renewing our lease at Township 5, or operating our business when we push through our 10th and final year. When the calendar hits August 2027, Carissa and Joel will no longer be at the helm. We’ve decided that selling the business is the next best step for us and that’s where we’re hoping that our amazing community will come to our aide one last time. We’d love to find a buyer or buyers who will honor the legacy of what we’ve created and carry it forward into the future with their own vision and the same kind of gusto we brought when we first embarked on this endeavor. There is still a need for the unquenchable thirst of the craft b**r scene, and we hope someone will be up to the challenge. If you, or someone you know, might fit this description please let us know. This is where we pass the torch and we want to make sure that we do so wisely so that Branching Out Bottle Shop can continue being Your Craft B**r Store. For now, we thank you all again for your support over the past near-decade. It has been an incredible experience sharing our lives and our inventory with you. We hope whatever comes next is just as exciting for us and for you. Cheers to all of you.
