OK, chiefs fans (and cigar fans!!), we are at Pebble Bay Club tonight for the Chiefs victory in the Super Bowl! In addition to our usual full line, we still have a box of the special addition Bad Ash Cigar Company Three Peat triple barrel aged sticks. These things are absolutely amazing without the super bowl connection, and that they were made for the victory and that several boxes went south with the chiefs the other day just adds an extra layer of spiritual connection!! Grab one of these, spark it up after the victory, and you will be sharing an experience with your team! Pretty cool! Opening day approaches! 'Bout time, I know! Getting the shop ready has been quite a chore, but going to be worth it!

Humidor Cabinets are ordered and headed this way, furnishings for two smoking rooms will be picked up this or next week. Today I will pick up some laminate flooring for one of those rooms, this week I will finish the prep work and install that flooring. Most of our stock on hand has been brought out to the store and is awaiting its new home in properly humidifier display space.

We should be fully in business by next week. We will be kicking thins off with a big batch of Gurkha Year of the Dragons and a bunch of Gurkha swag. We will also be featuring CAO Amazon Basins, which are every bit as tasty as promised! Along with that is the usual assortment of sticks, plus a special bonus of the newly released Bad Ash Cigar Company Triple Barel Aged sticks.

Get ready to come by, say hi, and pick out something life alteringly delicious to burn with us! We can't wait to see everyone! We have missed y'all during this cold time of preparation!

They were aged months in 3 bourbon and rye barrels using a Blue Note Bourbon barrel, Red Line Whiskey Co. barrel and a Parkway Distillery barrel. Each box is a numbered special edition box, check with your local lounge for details. Releasing tomorrow, ask for it by name!

Well, we are still at it over here, but getting closer.

Due to an appearant shortage of Spanish Cedar at this time, we have shifted gears a bit. Instead of the planned walk in humidor, we will be bringing in 4 large cabinet humidors with a combined capacity of about 16000 sticks.

Rep from General Cigar was by the shop today, checking things out, dropping some samples and taking an order. Cohiba Red Dots are on the way, so are Cao L'Anniversaire camaroon Perfectos and Punch Bottle Rockets. Should come in next week.

On Monday, I will be scheduling our inspection by the City of Camdenton, we will place the order for the Humidor Cabinets, and once inspection is complete and Cabinets arrive, we will be announcing our official opening! It's getting exciting! We will also be heading to Springfield this week for a bunch of comfy new leather furniture for stylish relaxing with a fine stick.

Well, we're not dead and are at it again today! The future home base of Southern Cross ci**rs gets closer to ready each day. The work has interrupted my posting schedule, but will be well worth it in the end!

So far, we have rebuilt the front porch, remodeled the bath room complete with new commode, new sink and vanity, fresh paint and new flooring. We have removed carpeting from the room that will become the walk in humidor and are working on refinishing antique hardwood flooring, a bunch of Spanish Cedar will be ordered soon for the walls and ceiling, along with cedar shelving and cabinetry, and a humidification system.

We will be redoing the flooring in the remaining rooms and getting in furnishings to create comfortable smoking areas.

As the weather becomes fit for humans, we will begin working on some outdoor spaces, thinking fire pits and Adirondack Chairs, and whatever the closest thing to tropical foliage is that I can get to grow around here!

In addition to the shop we will be getting back to our mobile format, again as the weather becomes suitable for human life!

In Cigar announcements, we have just gotten in a fresh assortment of Rodriguez from Key West. A new box of Punch Rare Corojo in the Rapido size (5x40). And, best of all, we have 2 boxes of CAO Amazon Basins, and having burned one, I can attest to the fact that they are every bit as delicious as anticipated!

We hope to get things together for an opening very soon, but in the meantime we are accepting visitors. If you are in Camdenton, drop by and see what we are up to. We are right across the street from El Caporal, and right in front of Motor Hut. Visit our neighbors and pick up a great meal and a new chainsaw while you're in the neighborhood!
