17 years……… It’s hard to believe we opened The Cambridge Cooler from the ground up seventeen years ago.
That being said, it’s with mixed emotions we are announcing we will be selling our building and bringing the Cooler to an end on June 30th, 2024. It’s been an exciting and successful run and we are looking forward to beginning a new chapter in life.
When we opened The Cambridge Cooler our goal was to bring a wider selection of liquor, beer and wine to a community that was in desperate need. LOL. To say people were excited to have an actual “Liquor Store” back in town would be an understatement.
Besides a large selection of wine, high-end bourbon, whiskey, tequila, gin, and unique liqueurs, from the start the Cooler has been known for it’s large and diverse selection of craft beer, to the point where many customers would make the drive from Madison to see what the latest craft craze was.
Although some folks would get a bit startled by Tara’s placement of mannequins, many used the opportunity to make new friends that were sure not to talk back.
We could go on tooting our own horn but……... you know.
Thanks so much to all of our past and present employees. We couldn’t have done it without you. And of course, an enormous shout out to all of our loyal customers, many of which have become great friends over the years.
