Dear Friends and Neighbors,
After 16 incredible years of serving this amazing community, today marks the end of a chapter for us. Our emotions are filled with a mix of gratitude and bittersweetness that we announce the sale of Food Pride. From the bottom of our heart, thank you for your loyalty, support, and the friendships we’ve built over the years.
It’s been an honor to be a part of your daily lives, whether it was helping you find that item, chatting about life, or just being here when you needed us. Your smiles and kindness have meant the world to us, and we will always carry these memories with us.
While we are excited for the future, we will forever cherish the moments and the people who made this small town feel like home. While it does seem as if we will be gone, we will be nearby. We have started a new business in the hotel industry by just recently purchasing a hotel in Dewitt (Budget Inn and Suites). Want to give a huge thank you to anyone that has ever helped at the store in any capacity, truly meant the world to us and couldn’t be more appreciative. Thank you for the years of trust, laughter, and community spirit. Also wanted to take a second and mention that the new owners coming in have a big vision in remodeling the liquor and still going to keep the lowest prices in town. We please ask you to keep supporting the new owners in their new journey. We will miss you all, but we look forward to crossing paths in the future.
