NEW CIGAR ALERT!!

The large band on the Partagas Y Nada Más Santiago Robusto covers a good amount of the cigar, just under half, from some quick measurements and math. All three ci**rs look good, with a fairly typical and size of veins, fairly even-colored wrappers, and no immediate imperfections. The first cigar is softer than average under the band and at the foot; in the case of the spot under the band, the softness catches me by surprise, making me wonder if the band wasn’t attached snugly enough. The second and third ci**rs are more consistent and firm with just a bit of give. Some water-soaked Cheerios are the first thing I pick up from the aroma of the foot, followed by some pepper, wheat Chex, and half-and-half. The first cigar’s cold draw is a bit too open for my liking, while the flavor is rather tame, with a bit more wheat Chex. The second cigar’s cold draw is a touch firm but not problematic, with a flavor that doesn’t offer anything new. The third cigar’s air movement is the best of the bunch, and it has a bit of creaminess to go along with the wheat Chex.
