The Burnsville ABC is pleased to host a representative from Johnson Brother’s Distributing for a tasting of Oaklore Rye as well as some tequila’s from the G4 line.
The tasting will be held in the store from 3-6pm on November the 13th.
To help you remember this date I’m going to include one more piece of information. I was told the rep’s name is Jason. That means: come meet Jason at the tasting on Friday the 13th (ch-ch-ch-ha-ha-ha). Now you won’t forget it.

Save us all a frightening night and don’t let any Halloween Boo’s or Spirits impair your driving!
Win that costume contest but then get home safe. If you’re driving make sure your potions are the non-alcoholic variety.
If you’re the ghostly host of a party, make doubly sure all the ghouls and boys attending are of legal age before spiking that punch bowl.
Our ghastly staff will be here till 9 pm but then they are turning into pumpkins as demonstrated by Amanda, please and thank you!
Happy Halloween Burnsville! 🍁🍂👻🎃

With two deliveries this week Box Mountain is standing tall. If you or anyone you know is moving, just packing up summer items, or needs some cardboard to use as kindling, send them over to Burnsville ABC to load up on as many boxes as they can carry.

The holiday sleigh made their annual visit to our Burnsville store today! Come check out these limited edition bottles, nogs, and gift sets but remember once they’re gone you won’t see their like again till this time next year!

The crew at Burnsville ABC unloaded their delivery this morning and quite a few bare spots on the shelves are filled in again. It’s also the time of month to keep in mind that if you’ve been enjoying a pink tagged item, all of those October monthly specials will be disappearing like a black cat into the night on Saturday the 31st.

10/26/2026

You may have noticed our rum section looks like it went on a pre holiday diet! I mean really she’s just sucking it in to make a little extra room for the eagerly awaited Holiday truck!
Maybe that special gift set will be the perfect package to put under someone’s tree this year?
As long as that someone is of legal age to enjoy that gift responsibly.

The allocated bourbons available through the raffle are growing a little every delivery! But you have to be entered for the chance to buy one of these hard to find items!

You have till 12 December to enter for the drawing on December 14th. Come by to fill out your ticket!

New products arrived this week!

And while I have your attention, the monthly ABC Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, October 20th at 6pm.

Fear not! Today’s Federal Holiday does not impact the hours here at Burnsville ABC.

Let your friends in banking and US Postal Service know that our clerks will still be here from 9am-9pm for them and for you!

So not only is this an assurance of our operating hours but also a PSA for anyone out there (like myself) who may have forgotten that today was a holiday and now has to rethink their daily errands.

Be safe out there and, as always, drink responsibly.

Sweet 16! As of today, the Burnsville ABC has been serving the people of Yancey county and beyond for 16 years! Those years have brought major changes in products sold, lots of different faces behind the counter, and even a change of address along the way!
Most importantly, it’s been giving back to the community and state we call home as sales were channeled back into state and local government, statewide rehabilitation programs, and local law enforcement.
Thank you for supporting us!
