We carry farm fresh local eggs, groceries, snacks, soft drinks and local elk and buffalo jerkies. Locally owned and operated since 1991, Centerville Pit Stop Inc. now carries Ethanol-free 91 Octane Premium Clear Gasoline. Better fuel economy, better for small engines and high-performance vehicles, keeps corn in the American food chain, not in our engines.

We wanted to give a HUGE shout-out to Chuck Murphy and his crew at PMS Pavement Maintenance Services of Salida Colorado. Last week they completely repaved and resurfaced our parking lot and gas lanes at the Centerville Sugar Shack. For a small Mom and Pop business like ours, this is a pretty significant investment and we were in good hands with Chuck. He completed the job in under 2 days with minimal interruption to our business, and his crew were professional and careful about not tracking newly laid asphalt into our store. We knew we wanted to spend our capital improvements budget locally so really we had decided on Chuck before we even got his bid (which by the way was very reasonable). We spent locally, supported another local business, and are totally pleased. If you need paving work done, Chuck is your man! THANK YOU! WE LOVE OUR NEW PARKING LOT!

Attention residents in the Nathrop/Centerville area: We're hoping our friends and neighbors in our local vicinity will spread the word and help us find just the right team member for a job opening we have down at the Centerville Sugar Shack. We always like to employ locally if possible. We have an opening for a part to full time (16 - 35) hours per week employee. Starting wage is $11.50 per hour (more if familiar with Passport POS). Perks include flexible scheduling, 401K, paid vacation after 6 months, yearly bonus, great co-workers and root beer floats. :). Contact Cheryl J.
