Any fishermen knows that fishing is always about so much more than the fish. Today we proved that. It’s with a full heart we can say today was a good day. The fishing was slow, but the smiles were plentiful. There were stories, laughs and new memories made.
In honor of a man whose laugh still echos in our ears. As the sun peaked above the bluffs this morning as we drove into the park, there was a gentle reminder that CJ wasn’t far today, nor is he ever.

Thank you to everyone who reminded us of what community looks like. Sometimes we just need to slow down long enough to remember. ❤️ 🎣🙏🏻

Thank you to the cash donations made to make door prizes possible!

Winners will be posted in the comments below.

1 week out, Registration is open!

Few questions have been asked about fish being alive at weigh in. We’re not the Bass Pro Elites & will use our judgment as necessary. With that being said, you can always pop into Shelter #3 to weigh in fish anytime between 7-3.

This is about community & remembrance of a great man of the outdoors, let’s make some memories together! 🎣🤘
