Yep before it became the soda we all know today, Mountain Dew got its start with whiskey in mind.

Here’s your wisdom for the week:

“Bourbon is whiskey. But not all whiskey is bourbon.”

Bourbon has its own set of rules including being made in the U.S., containing at least 51% corn in its mash bill, and aging in new charred oak containers.

So when somebody says bourbon and whiskey are the same thing...

Well... kinda. 😉🥃
