We partner with Beer Capitol Distributing to help raise money for The V Foundation for Cancer Research every year for March Madness.

Jim Valvano was a successful basketball coach, a national champion and became a Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Famer in 2023. But as great a coach as he was, his legend was born from the human he was. Caring. Emotional. Funny. Passionate. Legendary. Jim Valvano turned his own cancer journey into a legacy that is saving lives decades after his passing.
While cancer ultimately took his life, Jim remained focused on helping others. In his last months, he teamed up with ESPN to form The V Foundation for Cancer Research.
To date, the V Foundation has granted nearly $400 million to cancer research.
As Jim said, “cancer research may not save my life, it may save my children’s lives. It may save someone you love.”
