Lemon and olives are a natural match. The Empirical Olive Lemon Drop brings a fresh, herbaceous edge to the beloved classic, balancing tart citrus with a subtle savory note.

Empirical Olive Lemon Drop 🍋🫒✨
1.5 oz vodka
3/4 oz Empirical Olive
3/4 oz lemon juice
3/4 oz simple syrup
Lemon twist, for garnish

Add all ingredients to a mixing tin filled with ice. Shake briskly until ice is broken up. Double strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with a lemon twist.

Welcomed our friend Tom Vergano from to Brooklyn the only way we know how: by asking serious questions about vermouth production, American cocktail styles, and the rules for proper pizza toppings. Verdict: Strong opinions, many laughs, fabulous drinks.

Fair to say it’s *our whole job* to think about Martinis all day.
So, of course, we’re always tinkering with our favorite recipes.

Empirical Olive Martini 🫒🍸
1.5 oz Empirical Olive
1.25 oz vodka (or gin)
0.25 oz dry vermouth
Olives, for garnish

In a mixing glass filled with ice, combine ingredients and stir until cold. Strain into a chilled coupe. Garnish with olives. As many as you like, we won’t judge. 🫒✨
