A look at this past Saturday’s private tasting 🍷

For private tastings, we pour a themed 3-wine flight featuring two wines tasted blind. This interactive one-hour session explores wine production, tasting techniques, and pairing tips in a relaxed setting.

Tasting blind isn’t just a party trick—it sharpens your palate and builds confidence. By the third glass, you might just surprise yourself!

Pépin, a shop fave, is a French négociant project focused on making honest, low-intervention wines meant for everyday drinking. Sourced from organically farmed vineyards across France, Pépin wines are fresh, balanced, and approachable — never fussy, yet complex, and always food-friendly.

These are wines made with care and intention, but without pretense: clean farming, thoughtful winemaking, and a belief that great wine should be accessible, joyful, and shared. Hands down, one of our favorite producers. 💛🍷

This October 18th-19th, please join us at the 29th Annual Gowanus Open Studios! Hosted by Arts Gowanus, Gowanus Open Studios is Brooklyn’s biggest celebration of local art and artists; hundreds of artists across dozens of venues in the greater Gowanus neighborhood will open their doors, giving the public a rare glimpse inside the former factories, warehouses, and studio buildings of this vibrant neighborhood. I’ll be on hand to discuss my work, share my process, and showcase my latest projects. 
There will be printed maps of the event available across the neighborhood, but if you want to start planning in advance, you can find a directory of all the participating artists here (https://gowanusarts.org/).

On view now at Gowanus Wine Studio & Tasting Table, “Untitled,” a new exhibition by Juliet Martin.

Fueled by anxiety, Juliet’s bold and buoyant artwork is a jittery amalgamation of materials including hand-woven textiles, illustrations, paint, and glitter. She tackles topics ranging from pandemic loneliness to heartbreak and fear. Juliet uses humor to lure viewers before delivering a serious punch. “These are my discordant memoirs.”
