Bestie called and said “make me a hat”, so consider it DONE
This hat was SO fun and each aspect of it represents my Martha to a T! She allowed me almost total creative liberties, making this hat extra special to me since I got to choose nearly every one of the burn images with her in mind❤️🔥
- Broken barbed wire to symbolize freedom, to show that she will not be restrained or held back
- 2 roses and 1 daisy to symbolize her amazing sons
- “Mama” on the brim because it’s her most valued role in life
- A cactus because she just looks so prickly and scary on the outside😳 I’m kiddinggggg Martha I’m kidding!🤣 In all honesty, the cactus just fit the western grunge vibe that she radiates😉
- The line-work female face to represent her femininity and love for self care & beauty
And then there’s the extra details;
- The Ace of Spades, known to be a good luck charm. The Spade also symbolizes hard work, persistence, and the rewards that come from diligent effort. The word “spade” is derived from the Italian word “spada” which translates to “sword”. The playing card and spade pin were a very easy choice!
- Of course my boujee baby had to have some turquoise & bling, this hat wouldn’t have been complete without either!
Martha, thank you for trusting me with your first hat, I hope I did it, and you, the justice you deserve! I can’t wait to see you turn heads in this pretty piece!
