Hey everybody! There’s some info I’d like to share, if you’ll take the time to read it I’d greatly appreciate it!💞

For those that don’t know, TRG is 95% a one woman show! My name is Lexy and I’m the owner, and most of the time when the gift shop is open I’m the person at the register😁 But I also handle all social media, inventory management, accounts receivable and payable, I do my own bookkeeping, I handle all of my own monthly sales taxes and tax obligations, I personally handle every aspect of my little shop😵‍💫 On top of all of that, I also travel 2 hours into Texarkana almost weekly to personally print all tshirts and embroider all hats for the store😳 I go 90 to nothin’ nearly every single day to make TRG happen and I’m PROUD to do it!!

But I don’t do it totally alone! I have to give a huge shout out to my amazing husband, Michael and to my sweet niece, Sadie for helping me keep that door open for all of you. Whenever possible, one of them will step in to keep TRG open and running while I’m out running errands, printing and embroidering restocks, picking up products from local vendors, or just taking a day to sit still. The two of them are more than vital to this operation and I’m beyond grateful for them!

Outside of the store, I work a little for my parents in Texarkana. They run their own business and have met some extreme challenges lately that have affected their productivity so whenever I can, I go to help them catch up. All of my family lives in Texarkana as well so whenever there’s a birthday, wedding, emergency, or anything in between I tend prioritize that as anyone given the chance would. I have 3 beautiful bonus daughters all in school and extracurriculars and when events arise for them, I again prioritize being present for my girls as I believe anyone given that chance would☺️

I’m spilling all of this info no one asked for for a reason though! If you ever visit Riverman Trail Rides and find my gift shop door locked, I promise there was just no other option! I always do my very best to be open and operating when trail rides are booked but occasionally it just doesn’t work out. Being such a small operation, I don’t have full time employees nor do I have a perfect, set schedule yet. I say all of this to ask you to please bear with me through these growing pains! My hope is to reach a point where TRG is open any and every time a trail ride is booked, but for now please understand my being closed is never the plan, only a necessary thing to remain stocked or to be present in my family’s lives!

And she’s finished!! Last burned hat for this round and I’m soooooo pleased with how it turned out!

Dusty Rose Pink vegan suede hat with a teardrop crown. Design includes large florals + greenery, large worn feather, “Leave her wild”, boot stitching on the crown, & light burning around the crown for the old/work illusion. A simple burgundy lace ribbon for the band put just the right finishing touch to this hat.
