Wowza. This wine has me feeling right.

2018 Vino di Anna ‘Palmentino’ Rosso :: 95% Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio, Alicante, Grecanico, Minella, & Catarratto

80% of the final blend is spontaneously fermented in an ancient Etnean winemaking building, called a Palmento - 50% whole bunch pressed and 50% hand-destemmed.

Think - super juicy, cherries, wild strawberries, fresh acidity, touch of mineral, bangin chillable red.

Farmed organically and planted on yellow clay and limestone soils. Hand harvested, spontaneous fermentation in temp controlled stainless steel with a small amount of skin contact. Matured on lees for 6 months in tanks and additional 4 months in bottle prior to release.
