Hi there everyone! Here's a little update during all these crazy times. Our "Teleshopping" program seems to be a great success as we are getting shipments out to our customers daily. It has been both exciting and strenuous at times as the phone is ringing off the hook, and getting orders packed and shipped is a little more time consuming than our normal operating procedures. We ask for everyone's patience as we are daily going back through the call log of any missed calls. We're getting a lot better with all of the new procedures as time progresses, and are streamlining everything as much as possible. We are rushing to make sure we can get out as many orders as possible on the same day. In general we are seeing shipments within Shreveport/Bossier and even as far out as Minden arrive in a day. We have tracking on all the orders and can give our customers updates on tracking if it appears that it is taking longer than expected. The exception to this rule has, after two weekends now, come up with Saturday shipments. At this time there seems to be no way to guarantee that orders placed Saturday will get processed by the postal service before Monday, and most weekend orders are being received by our customers the following Tuesday. If anyone wants to inquire about Teleshopping, or has any questions about products or updates on when we will be able to open our doors again to the public please call us at (318)773-8091.

Yes, of course we are open, and we have crawfish!

Just Kidding! (but not on the crawfish) So much for April Fool's day, so much for all of April 2020 for that matter. Just a heads up to anyone who has been living under a rock for the last couple of months or just returning from a nature retreat with no human contact so far this year. The Lotus is currently closed to the public and has suspended all normal day to day operations. Our 4/20 event has been postponed at this time to tentatively take place on 7/10. In the meantime we are offering our customers the opportunity to be a part of our "Teleshopping" program that we have developed in order to take care of their needs. To inquire about the program please call us @ (318) 773-8091. We are experiencing EXTREMELY high call volume as many of our customers are taking advantage of Teleshopping to get their Lotus goodies. If we miss your call we are trying as best we can to return your calls, if we haven't gotten back to you please try again a little later- we are getting to everyone as best as we can. Once you have utilized the program and are in the system subsequent use is ultra quick.

It's been ten years in the making. We're all stocked up. April 2020. A whole month of 420! The biggest 420 ever in the history of The Lotus. What could possibly go wrong?...,

So, uhh, guys..., Looks like this years 420 event is definitely gonna be canceled/postponed A giant gathering, standing room only at the shop just doesn't seem like the most prudent/responsible plan at this juncture. We are hoping that by 7/10 Shreveport/Bossier, the U.S., and the rest of the world will be past the threat of Covid-19. That's our target date for now. We'll see how things progress. In the meantime The Lotus has changed it's operating procedures to follow government guidelines and protect the safety and health of our customers and staff. All operations are closed to the public and all sales will be done through our new "Teleshopping" program. Don't miss out. Call us, ask about it, everyone is loving it. (318) 773-8091

..In all seriousness though the world is going through a rough time. We all need to look out for and help one another in these dark days. The safety and health of our customers, friends, and everyone around the world are in our thoughts and prayers. Just remember that there will be an end to this crisis and we will one day get back to normalcy. To help our customers abide by the governor's stay at home proclamation The Lotus is now closed to the public and normal day to day business.
