Sean’s last day working at the Bodega is Friday!
He is beginning a new chapter as a resident artist for The Common Well in conjunction with the Alexa Rose Foundation. As excited as we are for his future, we are sad that we won’t have him as a staple of the bodega. He will however, always be part of the family. Stop by on Friday, grab a free popcorn and help us wish Sean the very best!
I knew Sean before we had even opened the bodega as a young, creative, and inspiring skateboarder and artist. I let him know that we were going to be opening a bodega and I wanted him to come work for us. From day one of opening our doors, Sean has been an integral part of building this community around our store. It’s been amazing to watch you continue to grow into the wonderful person you are today. Thank you Sean! It’s been a challenging marketplace, but we are so grateful that you were here to help navigate and build something really special. The impact you have had on us will carry on throughout the existence of JD’s Bodega and beyond.
