Just a friendly reminder:

FYI for those who don’t understand how carding those under 21 years of age works. If you are under the age of 21 years old, you can not legally purchase alcohol in our store. If you come in with a parent or guardian and you are carded, you must provide a Valid ID or passport or you will be kindly asked to leave. Please don’t help people pick out alcohol if you are not 21 years old because we will card you or ask you to leave. Yes I do speak and understand Spanish.

If you look under age, you will be carded. Have your Valid ID or passport ready. Even if your parent is purchasing, you will also be carded so don’t be upset when we don’t sell to either of you, if you are under 21 yrs old or you don’t present your Valid ID or passport. It’s the law and our rules of our business.

If you become upset or belligerent, or harass our employees, we reserve the right to call the police and you will be trespassed off the property, never to return. And yes we have cameras.

This is only a public announcement for those who may not understand how alcohol or to***co purchasing is done in the state and our store.

April 5th is the Riverside Booster Bash Auction

We have a Rare Bourbon Basket that will be a part of the live auction. All proceeds go towards the Riverside Booster Club.

Dad brag. My boy, Aristotle, is a senior this year and has accomplished quite a bit in this sport, despite injuries ending his senior season. He’s brought home many titles and accolades over this span, with his most recent being his 4.0 gpa. Proud of him and look forward to what his future holds. Once a Pirate, always a Pirate.

It’s senior night week! This week, we will be recognizing our amazing seniors, introducing AJ Rockwell! ⛰️⬆️

His favorite memory is poker nights with the boys.

After college, he wants to become a financial advisor or pursue a career in investment banking.

AJ says that what makes EOU wrestling special is the bond that everyone has with each other.

He would like to thank his family for pushing him, the coaches for believing in him, and his fiancé for supporting him. MOUNT UP!

Holiday drink ideas!

Gingerbread White Russian
Ingredients:

For the Gingerbread Simple Syrup:

1 cup water
1 cup fresh ginger, peeled and cubed
2/3 cup dark brown sugar, packed
1/4 cup molasses
1 teaspoon orange zest
2 cinnamon sticks
1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
For the Cocktail:

2 tablespoons ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon granulated sugar
2 ounces vodka
2 ounces Tia Maria or coffee liqueur
1-2 ounces gingerbread syrup (to taste)
2 ounces heavy cream
1 gingerbread cookie (optional, for garnish)
Directions:

Prepare the Gingerbread Syrup:
In a saucepan, combine water, ginger, brown sugar, molasses, orange zest, cinnamon sticks, and cloves. Stir and bring to a boil over medium heat. Once boiling, remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract. Let the mixture sit for 15 minutes to infuse. Strain to remove solids and let the syrup cool. Store in the fridge for up to 2 weeks.

Rim the Glass:
Combine ground cinnamon and granulated sugar on a shallow plate. Use an orange wedge to moisten the rim of the glass, then dip into the cinnamon-sugar mixture.

Assemble the Cocktail:
Fill the rimmed glass with ice. Add vodka, Tia Maria, gingerbread syrup, and heavy cream in that order. Stir gently to combine.

Garnish:
Add a gingerbread cookie to the rim or as a side garnish. Serve immediately and enjoy!
