YOU GUYS! Let’s help support the Arts in the Pecatonica Area School District!

Head to the original post, check out the staff’s awesome costumes, and vote for your favorite by giving it a LIKE or LOVE! Blanchardville Community Pride will donate $1 per vote for the winning costume, up to $500, to support the Art Department!

Why does this matter so much? Because the Arts are SO important to! Art and music inspire creativity, build confidence, encourage self-expression, and give young people opportunities to discover talents they might not otherwise know they have. These programs help shape well-rounded kids, yet far too often, the Arts don’t get the attention or support they deserve—not just here, but in school districts across the country.

Art and music meant so much to me growing up, and I know many of you feel the same way. Let’s help make sure today’s kids get those same opportunities!

So, PRETTY PLEASE, with a big ol’ caramel apple on top (because it’s that season!), take a minute to head over to the original post and cast your vote. It’s quick, it’s easy, and it’s a sweet way to give back to a program that makes a lasting difference in our kids’ lives.

Let’s show up for the Arts and our youth 🤘

Enjoy the day!

Mark your calendars ✅️

Let's keep talking ... through another mental health-focused book club! The Alliance, Naturally Empowered Living and Blanchardville Public Library are pleased to announce our next community read, "Voluntary Madness," by bestselling author Norah Vincent. In it, she recounts committing herself to three different mental health facilities to learn more about the world of mental health care – while struggling to find her own health and happiness.

We’ll gather three times to think through themes, see what we learn as individuals and a group, and encourage more open dialogue about mental health. The first discussion is scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 3 at 5 p.m. at Blanchardville Public Library!

Check with the library for help securing a hard copy! There are limited copies in the library system, so the library, Naturally Empowered Living and the Alliance have all donated copies to ensure there is a batch available! The book also is available online.

We can't wait to gather to make new connections and foster mental health awareness in our community! See you soon.
