As we have waxed before, we love Alpine wines, and have featured them frequently at Golden Age and even once in a previous installment of the wine club. This month’s story takes us back to the French Alps, down the Isère River south of Geneva, through the Combe de Savoie, and further south dividing the hills of Chartreuse and the Belledonne Alps. Here you will find the Coteaux du Grésivaudan, a relatively unknown but emerging wine sub-region where this month’s producer, Domaine des Rutissons, resides. We will be pouring 15 staff favorites all day long with Chef Bryan Stanfield of cooking a delicious menu with a DJ set by Lee Shook from 4-8 PM 🫓📀 + a special visit from popping up from 3-6 PM 💐.

Sunday, July 20th — Downtown
Our 6 year anniversary continues at the Golden Age Wine Garden downtown on July 20th from 2-8 PM with another Garden Party! There will be vinyl DJ sets by Supreme, Duquette, and Coco with a live painting by Morgan Johnson of Rugged and Fancy and all the Cala coffee you need to recover from Saturday’s 6 year anniversary celebration at our Mountain Brook location! 🥂🍾

Now pouring 2023 Cati Ribot “Son Llebre” Blanc from Mallorca, SP! 🥂 is a third-generation winegrower making natural wines in the town of Santa Margalida, Mallorca. “Son Llebre” is made from Giró Ros and Malvasía de Banyalbufar from Cati’s own finca Son Llebre vineyard on Cal Vermell. This delicious orange wine transports you to Mallorca with just one sip. 🌊
