Someone was sleeping at the wheel and failed to order Other Half in time for the tasting (it was me 😴).

Instead, we got a bunch of award winning 🥇 beer from an equally legendary brewery out of Littleton, NH known for their European style brews (and ridiculously picturesque brewery, look it up).

NEW ARRIVALS

This week we welcome the British Invasion with Maine’s own English Pub Ale, a wickedly well balanced ESB innit. Not to be outdone, we’ve managed to (finally) get Scotland’s oldest brewery on store shelves. Nitro Scottish Ale is a smooth and balanced blend of caramel hops and mild bitterness 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Elsewhere in Europe, Dubbel is back in stock! This Trappist brewed Belgian strong ale features hints of caramel malts and fruity esters. 🇧🇪

Back on this side of the Atlantic, those of you who came to last week’s tasting already know about Knightville IPA and Sunset Park Amber Ale. Knightville is a sublime juicy IPA with notes of berries and pineapple. Meanwhile, Sunset Park daftly balances malty & hoppy characteristics with notes of toasted biscuit & pine. Totally Radical!

This week, made their Brew England debut with their crisp and refreshing German Pilsner.

Meanwhile, Trippel takes a page out of their name sake. This gold winning Belgian strong ale is boozy, smooth and complex.

Originating in Japan (brewed in the US), you’ll find the smooth Kirin Ichiban Lager gracing our shelves.

We’re starting to get into full blown seltzer season and Brew England keeps stocking the hits with Cha, a Thai Iced Tea hard seltzer from and the fruity Peach Vodka Seltzer from

For those that joined us for last Friday’s Tasting, you’re already familiar with the ridiculously smooth and fruity G Force that barely registers you’re drinking an 11%er. Also on deck is the famed summery Oberon from and a variety pack featuring hard to find brews (in Maine) like their Smitten Golden Rye Ale and Best Brown Ale.

Double the tastings at Brew England this week! On Friday 4/17 we host a new comer from South Portland rising fast through the ranks of Maine craft beer.

Meanwhile, on Saturday 4/18 returns to Brew England slinging samples of their true-beer non-alcoholic brews. So good, you’ll have a placebo buzz going on!
