Time to gas up and head to Bath, NC!

The tiny town of Bath, North Carolina, founded in 1705, is the state’s oldest town and a gem of early colonial history. Once home to the pirate Blackbeard, it sits right on the banks of the Pamlico River. This tiny town started with just around 50 settlers and has only grown to around 250 residents today. You can explore the Palmer-Marsh House, built in 1751, and the Bonner House from the 1830s...both showcasing early American life.
