Join us Thursday as we come together to support one of our own.

Carley started working at Sears Landing while she was still in high school and remained part of our family until welcoming her beautiful baby girl just 10 months ago. It’s also where Carley and Aaron first met while working together. Today, Aaron is still behind the bar, and Carley remains a cherished part of the Sears Landing family.

Just two days after celebrating her very first Mother’s Day, Carley was diagnosed with breast cancer at only 24 years old.

On Thursday, a portion of all proceeds will be donated to help Carley and her family as she begins treatment.

🦺 Be careful out there, DuCo 🚘

UPDATE: Tractor trailer wreck shuts down traffic at I-40 exit in Warsaw on NC 24. Highway patrol officials say Highway 24 at I-40 and westbound lanes of I-40 by exit 369-364 will be shut down for at least a few hours after an 18-wheeler hauling nitrobenzene overturned on 24. The vehicle is leaking the highly toxic material, and responders are waiting for a hazmat cleanup team, which is en route from Wilmington. The driver was transported via ambulance to ECU Health Duplin Hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries. More details as they become available.
