After the sweetest Pet Parade ever, we dashed to breakfast at the Blissful Spoon. While enjoying a smashed avocado toast with perfect-poached egg and side salad, I spotted someone wearing one of our women’s, long-sleeved tees! She graciously allowed me to snap this photo to share.

Today started with moments in the garden - a cup of coffee, teensy baby quails darting about, a hummingbird, assorted drought-tolerance daisies and lavender showing off.

A tiny flower bouquet makes its way to our store counter to share with our staff and customers.

An employee later sends a text message with some of this morning’s customer comments…

“We love everything in here”

“We really love this store. We live in town and always bring our families here when they come to visit. I love how you always get new things in.”

“We love the soaps - and have them in every room”.

May this day go on endless repeat, please.

Here’s what’s on tap:

Abiqua Creek Kolsch: 5.9 ABV 20 IBU - The origin of the name Abiqua Creek may have been lost to time, but the creek itself still runs strong, providing a key spawning site for steelhead. Our tribute to it is this crisp clean Kölsch perfect for Summer days by the creekside

Icarus Golden Stout: 6.7 ABV 33IBU -The stout that flew too close to the sun. Our brewers mimicked all of the traditional flavors you would expect in a stout without using any roasted malt by using a blend of cold brew concentrate, vanilla, chocolate, and lactose. The product is a very approachable and complex blend of flavors such as coffee, vanilla bean, and cocoa with some slightly roasted character.
Hops: Nugget, Tettange

Dream Boat IPA: 6.9 ABV 69 IBU - Hints of lemon, pine, and fresh fruit flavors with a pronounced yet refreshing bitterness. Best enjoyed on carefree days.
Hops: Amarillo, Cascade, Mosaic, Nugget, Simcoe.

One of our favorite and most widely gifted items are these prints from Katie Reim. We love the way they tell a visual and colorful story story of the geography. Her use of maps as a textural element offers a sense of place even if you’ve never been there. Please come check her out and let us introduce you to her work!

We got in three new Sasquatch ornaments today. They are soft and puffy, and completely made by hand - every cut and stitch with just scissors and an embroidery needle. No two are alike!

Our Story

The Bend Store carries locally handcrafted, Bend and Oregon-themed goods. We've got your Central Oregon essentials, such as Bend-emblem stickers and T-shirts, and a great selection of postcards. We have drinkware of all sorts: custom-engraved DrinkTanks growlers and travel mugs, SiliPints (silicone glasses) in every color and size, coffee mugs, glass pints and shots.

We love being a hub for a variety of local artists. We carry Bend pottery mugs by John Kinder, hand screen-printed shirts and tote bags by Green Line Press, and wonderfully-crafted leather items from LINK Leather Goods. You will also find stationery and art prints from Green Bird Press, Megan Marie Meyer Art, Kinship Design and Monica Helms, among others.

Our shop has its origins in a private art studio run by Delia Paine. In 2008, she was making Bend magnets, using beautiful paper from all around the world. In 2014, she relocated the studio to Oregon Avenue and added a small retail store. Over the next three years, that grew into something new: The Bend Store! In 2017, the store moved to a fabulously fresh location, on Wall Street - the happenin' main drag at the heart of downtown.
