🍾🥂Sip, sip, hooray — it’s National Wine Day!📆🍷
Every year on May 25th, we take a moment (or a bottle) to celebrate one of the oldest, most beloved beverages on Earth — wine! Whether you’re a red lover, a white wine devotee, or all about the bubbles, today’s your excuse to raise a glass and toast to the magic in every pour.
Did you know?
➡️Wine has been around for over 8,000 years, with the earliest evidence found in Georgia (the country, not the state!).
➡️The U.S. is the largest wine-consuming country in the world, and California alone produces nearly 90% of all American wine.
➡️There are over 10,000 wine grape varieties globally — and growing!
Why do we love wine?
Wine is more than just a drink. It’s a story in a glass — shaped by climate, soil, winemaking technique, and tradition. A crisp Sauvignon Blanc tells a different tale than a silky Pinot Noir, and each vintage brings a new twist.
Celebrate like a pro today:
🍇Try a grape you’ve never tasted before (Tempranillo? Grüner Veltliner? Mourvèdre?)
🍾Support a local winery or wine shop — they often have hidden gems!
🥂Host a mini blind tasting and surprise your palate
🍷Or simply unwind with your favorite bottle and your favorite people
Here’s to the grape that keeps on giving!
Whether you like your wine chilled, aged, bold, sweet, or bubbly, National Wine Day is all about enjoying the glass your way.
What are you sipping today? Drop the name of your bottle in the comments — we’re always looking for new favorites!
