I was bummed about the fact that hardly any folks brought their kids for trick or treating at our display. With that said I do appreciate those that came. I posted that I was pondering selling it all and being done. But...after thinking about it,im not going to quit. I'm freaking MR.HALLOWEEN! im doing the display, come or don't come.im doing it for me and my kids and grandkids .they love it. So in my words I will be getting DOWN! IN 26.

Really wondering if I want to do a display next year. There was very little interest from the surrounding areas to see the display. I worked a solid month setting it up. Still tearing it down,now wondering if I want to do it again. Last year was fun,first time I did the yard in 5 years and the community came out. Now there's so damn many trunk or treats,the parents don't come and bring the kids over. The kids don't even care if they get candy. I had 4 kids trick or treat. The others already had got a ton. Seems like every church,the towns, schools all had trunk or treats. I guess im just bummed. I'm sure i will regain my mojo .I definitely got plenty of exercise so that's a plus

This nc weather has sucked for October/halloween. Wind/rain/more wind.its supposed to stop raining Thursday. Hopefully the yard will dry out. Worked very hard on the setup this year .

Foggyfathoms has many spooktackular things to see for 2025. Take a stroll thru camp crystal lake where jason voorhees lives.listen for the sounds of thundering hooves...the headless horseman is searching for a head! Beware the werewolves lurking! Enter the realm of the bog monster..... check in at the bates motel...lurking near by will be the boogeyman himself michael Aubrey myers. Do not enter the leatherface chop shop,where thomas hewitt resides. Listen for the errie sounds coming from the pet semetery.theres the night of the scarecrow. Don't enter the corn field .don't take the path of wicked woods .witches casting spells deep in the antioch Forrest. There's the lurking root of all evil,,a large evil pumpkin scarecrow. The carnEVIL CIRCUS! clowns and freaks. There's ghostface and sackface from the strangers .theres deep fathoms,a small ghostship in the fog,and the Sentinel of foggyfathoms is the towering scarecrow!
