UPDATE – Troop C Missing Person

The New York State Police are providing an update regarding the missing person investigation involving Lance O. Bogart, age 47, of the Town of Tioga.

Mr. Bogart has been located deceased by the New York State Police Underwater Recovery Team (URT) in a creek behind his residence. There is no indication of criminal activity at this time. The investigation remains ongoing.

We would like to thank our partner agencies, including the NYS Department of Environmental Conservation Forest Rangers, and members of the community for their assistance during the search efforts.

Additional information will be released as it becomes available.
